Report an Outage
First, check for blown fuses and tripped breakers, including disconnects that may be located at the pole. Always keep extra fuses on hand. Washington Electric cannot make service calls to replace fuses. This is the member's responsibility. If a crew is dispatched for an outage and the cause is determined to be on the consumer's side of the meter, a trip charge will be assessed. Be certain you’ve eliminated any chance the outage is on your side of the meter before requesting a crew be dispatched.
Report outages by calling our office at (740) 373-2141. If you receive a busy signal due to high call volume or are reporting an outage after normal business hours, call our after-hours outage line at 877-544-0279.

It is important that you report any outage promptly. Don't assume that someone else has reported it. Your calls help us determine the extent and specific location of outages. We particularly want to know about any dangerous or life-threatening situations.
