Annual meeting postponed; election to continue as planned
Annual meeting postponed; election will go on as planned
Out of continued concern for the health and safety of our members and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic, Washington Electric Cooperative has postponed the annual meeting of members previously scheduled for May 14. A new date will be announced at a later time.
The annual board of trustees election, which takes place by mail, will continue as scheduled. The cooperative will mail ballots in mid-April, and members have until May 7 to get them postmarked and sent back to our independent election firm. Results will still be announced May 14 via a live stream on the co-op’s Facebook page, and we will also notify members via mail and our website.
